Whether it’s due to divorce, widowhood, marriage, retirement, or a job transition, life changes can cause significant stress. Working closely with women in transition, we aim to provide clarity regarding their financial circumstances and opportunities, and guide them through the myriad decisions they face.
When Catherine’s husband died, she wasn’t sure what steps to take. A European transplant, she was now living alone without any family in the area. We helped her track down the multiple accounts her husband had previously managed, and helped her make sense of the assets she had, as well as retitle them. Beyond financial planning, we developed a plan to help ensure she was taken care of, from helping her move into an assisted living home to working with her accountant to pay her bills. We wanted to serve as more than just an advisor for Catherine, and also assist her as a trusted confidante.
