Retirement has vastly changed over the years. Today, there is an increasing burden on people to ensure their assets last through their retirement. We work with retirees to bridge the gap between their pre- retirement years (when they were accumulating wealth) and their retirement years (when they are relying on the wealth they’ve accumulated).
Let’s look at Joe and Sylvia, a retired couple who, after having worked with several large financial management firms, had multiple scattered financial accounts. They had done well during their career and had accumulated a large amount of assets, but they were concerned about properly preserving them and ensuring they lasted throughout their retirement years. We began by taking them through the financial planning process, understanding what they currently had and where each account was held. By working together closely and frequently, and providing a high level of detailed guidance, we strive to help Joe and Sylvia feel confident in their future and ensure their assets are organized.
